Dietary phosphate disturbs of gut microbiome in mice

چکیده
Disorder of phosphate metabolism is a common pathological condition in chronic kidney disease patients. Excessive intake dietary deteriorates and various complications including cardiovascular infectious diseases. Recent reports have demonstrated that gut microbiome disturbance associated with both the etiology progression disease. However, relationship between remains unknown. Here, we examined effects excessive on microbiome. Five-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were fed either control diet or high for eight weeks. Analysis microbiota was carried out using MiSeq next generation sequencer, short-chain fatty acids determined GC-MS. In analysis microbiota, significantly increased Erysipelotrichaceae decreased Ruminococcaceae observed group. Furthermore, induced reduction microbial diversity mRNA levels colonic tight junction markers. These results suggest disturbs affects intestinal barrier function.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a complex endocrine disorder that affects 8-13% of women at reproductive age worldwide. This disorder is usually associated with menstrual disorders, infertility, obesity, and insulin resistance. The underlying cause of this syndrome is unknown, however in recent years, researchers have shown an association between intestinal microbiota alterations )dysbiosi...
متن کاملDietary effects on human gut microbiome diversity
The human gut harbours diverse and abundant microbes, forming a complex ecological system that interacts with host and environmental factors. In this article, we summarise recent advances in microbiome studies across both Western and non-Western populations, either in cross-sectional or longitudinal surveys, and over various age groups, revealing a considerable diversity and variability in the ...
متن کاملDietary Influence of the Gut Microbiome – Potential Hazards and Benefits
Over the past decade, significant advancements in metagenomics and metabolomics have shed light on the intricate influence of the gut microbiome on the course of systemic diseases. Even more recently, data has emerged on specific bacterial metabolites and antigens interacting with the immune system to modulate these diseases. As diet partly determines the gut flora, we analyzed studies on dieta...
متن کاملGut Microbiome in Down Syndrome
BACKGROUND Premature aging seriously compromises the health status of Down Syndrome (DS) persons. Since human aging has been associated with a deterioration of the gut microbiota (GM)-host mutualism, here we investigated the composition of GM in DS. METHODS The observational study presented involved 17 adult DS persons. We characterized the GM structure by 454 pyrosequencing of the V4 region ...
متن کاملThe Microbiome The gut microbiome in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis
Over the last dozen years, increasingly powerful DNA sequencing methods have allowed characterization of the microbes residing on and in humans in much greater detail than ever possible before. Abnormalities present in the gut microbiome—those microbial communities residing in our intestines—have now been observed in a number of diseases. One such illness is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), also...
